Regular Openings

Open to following students in each semester:

• New students
• Current students
• Returning students, transfer students, re-entry students

• Special cases: Graduate students, exceptional students from the Korea Sports Promotion Agency, international students from the International Exchange Center, students from the Division of Northeast Asian International Trade and Logistics, international students from INU Language Center, pre-university students, teachers' appointment examination students (4th or more years of education major), CPA preparation students, ROTC students.

Application Period

• General selection (new, current, returning students, etc.): Notice will be posted on the dormitory website.
  • 1st semester: Mid-December
  • 2nd semester: late June ~ early July
• Special selection: Determined by the relevant departments

Guaranteed acceptance: 1st-semester dormitory students are guaranteed to enter the summer vacation and 2nd semester. In case of winter vacation, only 2nd-semester students are guaranteed to enter.

Number of students

• General selection: 2,250 students
  • Year 1 (45~47%), Year 2 (18~20%), Year 3 (18~20%), Year 4 (13~15%), returning students, transfer students, and re-entry students (8~10%)
• Special selection: 830 students

The number of students selected may be adjusted due to internal circumstances.

The number of selections will be adjusted according to the status of students with high penalty scores.

Selection

• Regular students
  • Freshmen
    Each selected by regular and early admissions
    The number of students assigned to each college will be considered (Capacity: Based on the number of students admitted)
    Selected by total score ranking (Admission score×45÷Full score + distance points + additional points for residence registration = total score)
  • Current Students
    Selected by each grade
    GPA: GPA from the previous 2 semesters (minimum of 9 credits)
    Selected by total score (GPA average of the previous 2 semesters × 10 + penalty points + distance points + additional points for residence registration)
  • Returning students, transfer students, and readmitted students
    GPA: GPA from the previous 2 semesters (minimum of 9 credits)
    Previous college GPA for transfer students
    If there are no semesters with a minimum of 9 credits, the GPA will be treated as 0
    Selected by total score (GPA average of the previous 2 semesters × 10 + distance points + additional points for residence registration)
• Priority selection
  Severely disabled people and their caregivers: Submit a copy of a disability document or disability registration card copy
  Livelihood Benefit Recipients: Only for those who submit a Basic Livelihood Benefit Certificate issued in their name
• Separate selection
  The number of selections may be adjusted based on the number of high-penalty students (4 points or more) in the previous semester.
  Entry is only possible when each department and division submits the lists of applicants to be accepted

• How to apply: INU portal website login → Integrated information → Dormitory application
• Documents Resident registration (submit on the day of entry): The distance score for each location is based on your registered address (the effective date of issuance will be announced at the time of selection).
  

For personal information protection, the last digit of the resident registration number must be blurred and submitted on the date of entry.
Copy of Alien Registration (only applicable, submit on the date of entry): The distance score for each location is based on your registered address
Copy of disability certificate or disability registration card (only applicable)
Certificate of livelihood benefit recipient (only applicable)

• Payment Methods: Bank transfer via personalized virtual account, card payment (Samsung card only)
